In December 1998 we had discovered and finally located our own childhood favorite brand balloons, a USA distributor that manufactured a "great" balloon with an even greater demand for them, it was the TBC, however, in 2010, this manufacturer discontinued manufacturing these long time favorites. They had invented the "cat" (head and ears balloon) made in 1931, TBC claimed to be the first to create the animal uniquely shaped balloon(s). We at BLC experienced a one of a kind friendly, personable and courteous staff and rapport with TBC, an experience we indeed miss greatly to this day. We found that these balloons were simply the best ever manufactured!! Then came S&T!!

Some of the most poular included the 20 inch round and the giant 8 foot "workers" along with the rest of their large line of balloon products. Unfortunately TBC discontinued the production of their long line of balloons and these balloons are no longer available anywhere in the USA. They will be greatly missed by balloon enthusiasts around the world.

For those of you who desire special sizes and types we have most everthing available from 17 inches up to 9 feet and larger, including weather balloons! We offer only the best. If an item of choice is not in stock we will order it. Here with BLC you can really bring life to your next celebration with real latex balloons!!

Ideally the so-called latex balloons of today were created primarily for the large party affair or professional decorator and are not a favored balloon for the small party or children. The imports and the S&T brand balloons we carry are childrens' (young and old alike) favorites because of their unique shapes, soft flscible latex and the vibrant array of colors. 60 plus years of business proves it for the "imports" and for the TBC brand balloons. History has proven it, where others have not met up to "true" balloon lovers expectations. The balloons that you remember as a child are ones which we carry and sell. We urge you to ask yourself, "How many times have I gone out looking for balloons at a florist or another outlet and found mylars staring me in the face, and with little or no choice bought them reluctantly and at a higher cost to match!!

Many balloon manufacturers now only offer just a few pages in any of their catalogs dedicated to latex balloons and the majority of these catalogs are dedicated to the mylar invasion. We at BLC think it is pretty sad that the choices of today force most to the giving a loved one a piece of colored tinfoil or a hardened plastic balloon that is not a true latex one!!
